Serajuddin Nasafi
Founder and First President
Serajuddin Nasafi, an immigrant himself who arrived in the United States in the 1970s, established UAAC with a vision to create a supportive environment for fellow Uzbeks. His personal journey inspires our work and commitment to helping others find their footing in a new land.
Olim Sharipov
President of Uzbek American Association of Chicago
Our current President, joined UAAC with a commitment to furthering its mission. A native of Karshi, Uzbekistan, Olim immigrated to the U.S. in the 1990s. With a background as a tax professional and entrepreneur, he brings a wealth of experience and passion for community service. Under his leadership, UAAC continues to thrive and expand its outreach, fostering connections and supporting the needs of our community.
