Mission, Vision and goals of our community

The Uzbek American Association of Chicago (UAAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2009 by Sirajuddin Nasafi to promote and preserve the Uzbek culture and language and serve the needs of the Uzbek American community of the Greater Chicago area. The Uzbek American Association of Chicago aims to preserve Uzbek language, heritage and culture through organizing celebrations of Uzbek holidays, running a Uzbek school and other cultural and educational activities. Additionally, to facilitate the development of a unified and flourishing Uzbek American community, UAAC holds picnics and social gatherings and aims to help individuals of Uzbek descent to be valuable members of the larger US society.
